Communication Mentorship (Com-Mentor) Programme
Communication capability is a core strength of any public-facing organisations, be they for-profit or non-profit, public sector or private sector, local or global. CUHK’s Master of Social Science programme in Corporate Communication is designed to groom the next generation of communication leaders for both public and private sector organisations operating in a socio-political and business environment that is increasingly communication-driven and whose success is increasingly communication-dependent.To enrich our student’s learning experience, our School partners with selected organisations with a sterling reputation in communication excellence as “Com-Mentor Organisations” to provide mentorship and internship opportunities to our post-graduate students in Corporate Communications.
Under the Programme, selected students work for two days a week from early February to end of April each year in a Com-Mentor Organisation under the mentorship of some of Hong Kong’s best communicators to broaden their exposure and deepen their knowledge of communication.
This is a highly selective programme that matches the best with the best: each year, only about 15 outstanding post-graduate students in Corporate Communication are selected for a deep-dive immersion in one of our Com-Mentor Organisations where they apply classroom learning to meet real life communication challenges and to use communication capability to help achieve the organization’s mission.

Creative Manager, Different Music As a creative manager in the media industry, I need to handle lots of corporate clients. I had been wanting to study communication theories for a long time. Being a corporate communication student is my dream come true. I also have the chance to know more classmates in the related fields. I will treasure all these experiences and will apply what I've learnt to my work. |
